Please advise for using ceiling tiles that are not for drop ceilings. Thanks! Forgot to specify. And looking for economical options on the ceiling tiles too.
Are you just looking at the tile to cover the popcorn ceiling? If so, it's not that hard to remove. I took down mine because there had been a leak and it was a mess. (Then I had it sprayed back on again) Try searching 'remove popcorn ceiling' and see what you can find. Then if you still want to put up tile, do it on a clean ceiling. Good luck :)
