You can use a large lid off an orange juice bottle to build a dam above your feeder to repel the ants 🐜. Punch a hole in the lid string it onto wire that hangs your bird feeder, then place a drop of hot glue on both sides of lid to seal the fill with water and you have a dam to stop the ants.
why do you not just feed them at ground level..outside obviously....they are hungry too...It is not like you will get more...just make them happy with their own feed.

I bought an ant bell from Tractor Supply that you have to coat the underside with vegetable oil
I have used the ant bell successfully
easy peasy put corn starch or cornmeal on the ant hill they take down in nest and no more ants. I did that no more ants on my hummer feed actually no more ants in my yard at all.
