Think about what your dad likes to do or something that would make his life easier. Another option would be to sign both of you up for a class to learn a new skill, you could learn a new hobby together and spend time with each other doing it.
The time is close, but dad's love key chains, cell phone holsters, wallets--anything with leather or that can have his initials on it.
One thing he will love no matter how old you get is a picture of you two together. Recent is best, but even a baby picture is fine. Make a picture frame if you can (look online for many variations). Or if you have a picture frame, you can paint it in one of your or his favorite colors. If the picture is too small, you can cut a piece of colored paper, newspaper, or wrapping paper to fit into the picture frame. Use a small piece of double stick tape or a dot of glue to put your photo in the middle of the paper. Then put the paper and photo into the frame. If you can, stick on letters to spell your name, or JAZ, or your dad's initials. You are finished with a diy project he may keep for years. Happy Fathers' Day! 😇
decorate a pic frame with scrapbook things that remind you of him or of things youve done together. and a pick of you 2 together. that way when he looks at the pic and all the things around it it reminds him of all the memories youve had together.
Make a coupon book for him With things that you can do for him. You can put things in it like breakfast in bed, a back rub, a wash for his car, mowing the lawn for him. Just think of things that he'd like you to do. You can cut card stock into coupon size, write what each coupon is good for, hole punch the left side of each coupon and put a ribbon through it to tie it all together.
Put a basket together of his favorite things...candy, snacks, magazine, gift card to a local store or greenhouse, a few local made foods, tickets to a movie...think "random" and "fun". Enjoy!
You could make him a cake and write "I Love You" on it. Dad's don't ever get tired of hearing that.
I made these for my grandsons mom and dad for Mother's Day and father's day. With 5 children you could get 5 (5x7) picture frames. Make the letters Daddy out of poster board and let them finger paint or draw on them. Then take a picture of each child holding the letter that they did, print it off and frame it. I did one with mom and one with dad. Turned out really cute!
