How much sun are they getting? That made a huge difference in mine. I doubt they get much more than 4 hours, but before they were only getting one IF they were lucky and no blooms. If that could be the problem, wait until winter to move them. BTW, mine are really putting out the blooms this year.
I had one for ten years that was a beautiful bush, but no flowers! Finally a friend suggested not pruning it. Some varieties need "old growth" to flower. Amazingly, I have had beautiful flowers for two years now.
Hydrangeas are like gardenias and some other acid-loving plants maybe the pH of your soil is not acetic enough have it tested or I add coffee grounds to my soil around my hydrangeas and they bloom beautifully mine only get about three and a half to 4 hours of Sun a day and they grow big and gorgeous and have lots of blooms also you can use a product called Bloom.
Have you been pruning them? Hydrangeas won't bloom on new growth, so it's best to leave them alone, removing only dead pieces. Not sure if it's dead? Leave it be.
My first flower this year came on old growth. The next four came on new growth. I put the whole pot into a vat of Miracid, a Miracle Grow product. Suddenly the plant came alive. I live in a hot, dry area so I keep my plant in an area that only gets morning sun, and shade the rest of the day.
