Ceramic tile
I agree. Stands up to water problems of any kind.
Actually, vinyl is a good flooring for a laundry as it does not absorb any water drips. Another product that is great is marmoleum. I have some in a small bathroom and water is easily wiped up and you can put a finish on it to make it shinier with a product you buy specifically for it. Our floor is so easy to clean.
i would use ceramic tile. It takes the water better and is very durable.
Keep us posted!
Tile is probably best. Just make sure you seal the grout well or it will discolor over time if its getting wet in spots.
Thank you for your information. I will consider this for my replacement.
Thank you Pamela. I have been considering tile. I am just afraid of cracks.
Bobbie, I can tell you that it takes a concerted effort to crack ceramic tile . Either that or a shift in the homes foundation in which case you have bigger fish to fry.
Pull up your vinal and use cement paint on it.
Tile is great. Durable & easy to clean.
Thanks for all the imput. I have decided on tile.
tile for sure.. easy to clean and you dont have to worry if your washer springs a leak
