Have you tried to Google: "how to build hen house" or "how to build chicken coop?" More ideas than you can imagine. Many with free plans.
we built our chicken house using pallets that we picked up for free. check your local paper or local sales lists (on facebook or craigslist etc).. for pallets.. someone is always giving them away for free.
Teresa, Here is a link that shows how to build one from pallets (make sure they are untreated wood because you don't want to make your chickens sick). I don't know if you plan on letting them be free range or not. This coop does not have an enclosure, but if you are using "found" wood, you could buy some chicken wire and stakes and put up a run for them ;)

and the link below lets you know how to tell if a pallet is safe to use (basically if you see the letter MB on it then it is NOT safe to use, and if you do not see any stamp on it, it would be better to not use it -- to be sure it is safe look for the IPPC stamp) ...

there is one for sale on FB Market (cheap)
I used a rabbit hutch for my first henhouse, with a modest chickenwire enclosure. Less than $200 for everything.
Thanks everyone for the tips!
