Don't have any suede cleaner, what can I use instead; have a pair of suede slides that are dirty, what to clean them with????
Try a pressure washer at the car wash. if the shoes are tight, make sure you put stuff in them to prevent shrinking when drying
Ok thanks
They used to make a spray cleaner, and you used a very fine wire brush to clean them with.

In thr 50's we used saddle soap
I also suggest spraying them with a protector water resistent spray after you clean them so that you don't need to continuously scrub- good luck!!
Spray with rubbing alcohol/water mixture and then use a magic sponge.
Go to shoe store for help
I used to use Cascade dishwashing powder on my white sneakers. Fill a bucket with warm water add about half cup let the shoes soak.Use a nail brush and scrub It works on canvas.
Suede is the reverse side of smooth leather! I would advise against any water or soap... Saddle soap id great for tanned/smooth pieces. I remember using an Art Gum eraser from a good art supply store...or dry corn starch, gently brushed into the material. If all else fails, you can dye them
Rub with a white eraser ,keep rubbing and brushing until they are clean ,then spray on a protector , but u will need to do this after every wearing to keep them nice
Magic eraser helped my shoes
Either throw them away or use them as gardening shoes. You let them get too dirty. They will never come clean no matter what product you use. They should have been sprayed with a protectant before you wore them the first time. Now it's too late. Sorry, darlin.
