Good luck! (LOL) I would tell him you are going to hire someone. See if he will start doing something then. It worked for me.
I'm having a good laugh about this question as I'm sure it's a common complaint especially in the Summer when people would rather be outside. Your husband obviously prefers "outdoor jobs" over "inside jobs". They probably bore him to tears. It dpends on what jobs you want completed but if funds allow, why don't you get some quotes from a Handyman of some type. There's usually men (women too!) advertising their services in local newspapers. Get some quotes from them - that might then "urge" your husband to tackle a project OR he may agree to you hiring the actual handy-person! Good luck!
After you ask a few times hire someone and give you hubby the bill. Make sure you add that other things needing fixing, refurbishing etc. will also be done this way
People like to feel needed . Start the project yourself and when you reach the point where you can't do it yourself anymore...."honey, I need you to help me with this one little bit . "
LOL Stop cooking dinner for a few days and see if he comes around! Tell him he can "work for food"! :-)
Bring one of the projects out to the Barn!
Loll!!! I think you should do as I do myself : DIY or pay someone to do it if you can't.
