Any Ideas for this corner with the wood stove pipe?
I am unclear as to what to do with this part of my house, "The Breakfast Nook".
Stick in a container full of rice for at least 24 hours and pray for the best. It has worked for us but I must say it was a quick dunk in water not a long time.
USE A HAIR DRYER
Put it in a bag of rice for a day or so
I used the rice drying technique Ana mentioned more time than I care to admit. It worked every time. My next phone will be waterproof due to my clumsiness.
Drop in rice and get your self an otter box cover for the phone. Dev whent thru 3 phones befor the otter box entered his life.

You know those little packets you find in new handbags, shoes , and even some medicine bottles ? To keep them dry? I keep a large ziploc bag of those handy for just this purpose . So far, the same bag has saved two Iphones. After an hour in the bag, all is well !
I think the dry rice trick only works if you get it right away. If it's been a while, it might be too late.
