Interestingly, but not an answer, I have sunflowers growing in my garden and yard and I never planted any of them. But, they sure are pretty, I'm wondering if seeds blew across the green space from my neighbor across the way who planted some a couple of years ago. Anyway, they keep coming back every year and then some.
