I roll the upper edges up together and keep mine separated that way.
Hello Pattysmith. When I take socks out of the drier I put them together and then tuck them up into one. That way they always have their mate. My sock drawers have sock bundles in them. All I have to do is pick out the color I want to wear that day. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
There are drawer separators for sale at dollar stores and container stores that seem to work for this organizing.
Whoops...just remembered. You can save toilet paper and paper towel rolls (cut to size) and put a pair of socks in each roll.
Roll them up, place them in rows. Sorting by color makes it easy to find the right ones quickly.
