- DesertRoseon Aug 11, 2017We have been gathering ideas we will be doing for Christmas crafts this year including terra cotta pots turned upside down and stacked to make snow men, clear balls filled with skittles or other favorite candy, and rolling old balls that may have some scratches or missing paint in glue and adding a variety of glitter colors or pretty metalic decor; another idea is to make ice cube candles these are gorgeous and can be any color and any scent added. They are simple, pour melted crayon and wax in a waxy carton (like juice or milk) filled with ice chunks. The hot crayon colored wax will melt the cubes and leave a beautiful design. Let them set until all the cubes are melted, like an hour or so, then peel off the carton carefully and you will have a very lacy looking candle. We used tall quart sized, short pint sized and half gallon size to have 3 to set in a group. This also make great gifts. Something simple like adding holly berries and greenery to a vine wreath and a big bow always brightens up any door or window. Hope these ideas helpHelpfulReply

Sunny Con Aug 12, 2017Hello Ande; I have been gathering so many ideas, from Hometalk.I have found some many crafts that I am planning to make on both Pineterest and Google.I purposely save some items to reuse for crafting.I am always thinking in the back of my mind about new ways to reuse these things! When I think of something, I jot it down in my work book.(Long story, I give away homemade things, crafts, Etc. at the Holidays)Lastly, I would suggest that you visit a store, such as Wal-Mart, or Michaels Crafts.I hope that this helps you!!!!!! Have Fun creating!!!! Take Care!HelpfulReply

- Emilyon Aug 14, 2017One year I made quilted Christmas cards. Using scraps of fabric, and cardboard. I used my sewing machine for parts of the project, but can't remember exactly how I did them but this was an all time favorite project and a huge hit with people who got them!HelpfulReply
