What are some exterior corner trim ideas?

Currently my house has cement siding from the 70s (yes, asbestos). Residing is NOT an option, except for the enclosed porch. But I want to make it look cottage like. I am in search of a light-weight, composite, wide, OUTSIDE corner trim - similar to vinyl siding corners on the corners of the house. The current trim is metal individual pieces on each piece of siding. I may have to buy the vinyl trim and cut to size but looking for additional options.

Don't screw anything into those asbestos tiles as then you are exposing asbestos to the environment and destroying their (tiles) integrity. If you must put vinyl trim on, glue it on with construction glue.

If you are going to clean the surface before painting etc. Use a garden spray with a cleaning solution and just hose off. Don't power wash.

Yes, I know how to deal with asbestos siding. I am not painting the siding, I am looking for corner trim ideas.

Teresa, Hello :) Ahhhhhh! Suonds wonderful. :) My roots come from the south where porch ceilings are ALWAYS painted 'Haint Blue (Gramma's was so light it was just a touch of blue in the white and you had to look twice to see it LOL), and there's a swing for grandparents and grandkids to snuggle on, a rocking chair or two for company chats and a table to sit an iced tea on (or warm milk at night). You are making me think of my Gramma's place :) GREAT PORCH MEMORIES !!! Well, anyway, HOME DEPOT has all sorts of trims they offer online that fit your specs or you could try using some HT pallet wood (Heat treated; it's the only SAFE pallet wood you'd want to have around your home).
