I would add flower boxes to the windows and fill them with colorful flowers. I would also add color between the bushes in front with flowers.
Take the window awnings off.
Some flower boxes to add interest and color.

I’d keep the black-and-white theme, maybe paint the door a bold color like deep red or navy to pop against the white, leave the crown molding white, and definitely keep those retro awnings since they give your house personality.
For your house, keeping the roof color in mind, black shutters will pop nicely against the white walls and complement a classic look. Consider painting the door a bold color like deep red or navy to stand out, keeping the crown molding white for contrast. Retro awnings add charm, so keep them if you love the look. For landscaping, simple greenery and flower beds along the front will enhance curb appeal without breaking the budget. Hi Melissa: If you like the awnings, keep them. It's YOUR house and do what YOU like to it. Personally, I think I'd paint the door a colour to make it pop, like teal or red or green or some colour you like, and maybe the shutters, too. Also, I'd paint the storm door white, too. Depending on where you live, the colour of the roof can warm or cool your house. If you live in a warm climate, a light coloured roof will keep the house cooler in the warm weather. If you live in a colder area, a dark roof will keep in the heat in the cold winters.
Hi Melissa, you can paint the front door the same color as you paint the shutters, and if you like add a nice color of shingles, or stick with a grey. Personally, I think blue shingles would look fabulous and you could match the paint to them.
I love the awnings and would NOT take them down. I also like the black and white colors. I would paint my front door either Red, navy blue or forest green. You need color and that would make it stand out.
