Small Ironing Board "Laundry" Sign
I found a vintage small wooden ironing board recently and decided to make it into a laundry room sign. More on my blog.
This is the finished sign hanging above the doorway in my laundry room.
I painted it with a satin creamy white paint. I distressed the edges and center lightly with sand paper.
I printed out LAUNDRY in a fun font on my computer.
I used the graphite transfer method to apply the letters to my ironing board.
I used a Sharpie paint marker to fill in the graphite letters. I used both dark and clear wax over my ironing board.
