The only way to kitten proof a curtain is to remove it. Otherwise, you can teach your kitten not to climb them by catching he/she in the act and gently removing the kitten, saying "No", then redirecting his/her energy to a more appropriate toy or scratching pad. Be sure to give praise when he/she redirects. Good luck!
good luck! try dark shower curtains till they are older or a scratching post
Net attached to the curtain where they go. OR Sew Wide Borders on your New curtains, that can be removed when kitten becomes Cat. Smack Paws when they do it.
Maybe a Blind?
Try attaching some aluminum foil to the bottom of the curtains to deter the kittens. Once they learn not to go near the curtains you can take the foil down! You can use pins to attach the foil! Or you could also use a spray bottle with water and gently spray the kitten anytime they try to climb the curtain! I hope this helps!!!
I love this question and the images of kittens being naughty! Try the suggestions and info on this Adopt-A-Pet.com site: http://www.adoptapet.com/blog/do-cat-proof-curtains-exist/#.WaAoDrhK3UQ Good luck and have fun!
There are these things called claw caps, you can get them on amazon for $5 for 20 of them. They allow your cats to retain their claws, but not use them like normal. I have never used them, but I have heard good things from people who have. You might have a better chance of finding those than finding kitten proof curtains :)
No such thing exists in the universe. Say after me.."aren't they cute?!!" Do this as often as needed..
