We made a great wedding arch and lighted drapes using pvc pipe anchored with cement in coffee cans, draped with twinkle lights and yards of sheer organdy. It's been reused for several weddings. And then there's this we made out of recycled doors. Totally movable and it's been used loads of times for other occasions.
We used 4 2 x 4's seven to eight feet tall and a white lattice vinyl cut in half to go over it all. It is easily attached and the 4 corners on a floor make it stable. Decorate with flowers as desired. Hope this helps. It is simple but nice!
You could make them using pallet wood or cover a wire arch with burlap and flowers! I've also seen them made with vintage ladders on the sides and reclaimed wood at the top.
