I always put vinegar and a little dishwashing detergent in the vase and then let sit and clean again
Fill with water and add a small amount of bleach and let it sit for a while; or you can try adding white vinegar to the water instead of bleach.
soak the vase in white vinegar and baking soda
Toss a couple of charcoal briquettes in there and leave for a few days. This is after washing it thoroughly, of course.
Try soaking it in vinegar water.
Wash first then when clean, use ammonia, hot water and dish detergent and let sit in the vase overnight. This will make the vase sparkle but should take the smell out. This has always worked for me.
4 parts water to 1 part bleach or white vinegar, let stand several hours then add some raw rice and swirl or stir so rice "scrapes" down the inside of the vase. Repeat as needed.
Vinegar or bleach should help; dilute with some water and a tiny bit of dish soap
Backing soda and Vinegar.
Never ever mix bleach with vinegar.....
