Turn an Antique Piano Into an Amazing DESK!

Turning an antique piano into an amazing desk isn't difficult...or expensive!
People frequently give antique pianos away, because they are can't be repaired, or cost too much to do it, or they can be found in inexpensively at thrift stores or on Craigslist. I bought mine for $35. We spent about $60 to turn ours into a desk and it takes minimal skills to do it.
Not only do you end up with a one-of-a-kind desk, but the top of the piano makes a great "mantel" to create a display on. It's a wonderful way to keep these old beauties out of the landfills, and it justifies the space in your house because its useful!
