okay... ou may find them quicker on line than in a store.
These are sold for under $10 at Walmart, Target, Amazon, everywhere. Here are two styles.
I would suggest you attach elastic across the top an bottom corners so that it's like a headband
There are gadgets that look like old fashioned garters; each piece of elastic has a garter on each end. You hook each end to a side of the sheet; it looks like a diagonal brace. Also, buying fitted sheets that are made for the THICK mattresses or California twin long fitted sheets may give you the extra slack you need.
The sheet clips should work. I have asked older employees like me for bed garters, and they lead me straight to the sheet clips. Few young folk are going to know about garters. Best wishes đŸ˜‡
Think about how a house slipper is made. The ones without a heel. If you can get someone to sew that extra piece across one end then it should keep your sheet on.
You can sew or safety pin elastic on the corners. It would hold corner of sheets over corner of mattress
Oh I had the same problem! These worked great, had my doubts but they've done a great job:

Get some of those sheet "garder belts" sold in most stores. Wook very well. Make sure you get the kind with metal clips, not the slide into a hole type.
a cheap easy solution would be elastic and safety pins. Measure either from head to toe on bed or side to side - depending on how it is popping off. Stretch the elastic as you. Easier. Then ( after the elastic has been cut to measured length) put the safety pin on each end of the elastic and then pin to the sheet. Make two of these. Good luck!
There are two techniques, one is to get a fitted sheet with a deeper pocket to prevent it from coming off. Second is to get those little elastic pieces with clips on both ends, and put them on the underside of the mattress kittycorner across the corner. http://www.drleonards.com/sheet-keepers/75192.cfm?clicksource=search I've seen them at the Dollar Tree sometimes too.
