We could help you arrange your laundry room if we had a picture of it. That would help us help you. EJL.
I had the same problem. I bought a stainless steel shelf from Costco and Sam's carry them too and put in my garage. I store all the large containers out there and I bought on clearance, some of the clear jugs with spouts you use for lemonade, tea, etc. I fill the containers with liquid detergent, fabric softener, and just pour from the spout what I need. If it is for pods, use a glass jar and if for dry detergent, use a glass jar with a scoop. I have two shelves in my tiny laundry room that holds these glass containers and keeps them off the floor.
A picture might help us see what your working with space wise.
How about baskets on shelves so everything has a place?
