What to do with a double volume wall which only has a television on it

Question

My lounge, dining room and kitchen are open plan. The dining room has a normal height ceiling, but the lounge and kitchen have double volume ceilings. Against the wall in the lounge I have a television and that is all. The wall is huge, being double volume. I want to do something wow but don't know what. The only swuggestions so far have been shelving or built in cupboards on either side of the television - how boring. Can somebody please come up with some wow suggestions.......

The TV can be placed on a large buffet type furniture. Or consider matching china cabinets. Lots can be displayed beyond china, books brick a brack etc.

Get something big and unusual to hang high on your wall. Make it something that's connected to you.

Into bicycling? Hang a vintage bike up there. Into motorcycles? Hang a front end or handle bars, tanks and fenders. Into boats? Hang a canoe! Whatever works for you! Have fun with it. 😊

What about a stone look? Airstone makes lightweight, eco-friendly faux stone facing that's an easy DIY project. It comes in three color variants, brown/cream, white/beige, and shades of gray.
