I have a mid century dresser similar to this one. My question concerns the middle drawers. Is this wallpaper, fabric or painted directly on the drawers? Has anyone done this and what are the steps for creating the look on the middle drawers? Thanks for any comments!

I converted a desk to a changing table when my son was born, (hes 44 now), and I glued fabric to the drawer fronts with white glue. Wrapping paper mod-podged on will work, and so will contact paper.
