Contrary to popular opinion, orchids are very easy to grow. Ours proliferate without feeding, but if you feel that yours need an extra boost, there are commercial orchids foods available at home and garden stores.
I agree with Victoria. We have two orchids in our south facing kitchen window that are doing fine without fertilizing. Ours are fed only when we think about it because they are so healthy without help. If you feel the need to fertilize find one for orchids by a good name and use it sparingly according to the directions so you don't burn the roots.
Fish emulsion is the only thing I use. I dilute mine 6 cups water to 1 teaspoon emulsion. Water well first, then use the emulsion. Use only during non-flowering times. Careful because this will make your orchids grow large. My sprig orchids usually have about twenty blooms. My "Easter" corsage orchid usually has 5 but it's still young. Got it when it was about 2" tall and it's now about a foot.
