Search for some pen & ink drawings from google images and print out on Watercolor paper (Walmart - $10 [30 sheets]). Get some water color kits for them to "paint." If you can post your e-mail, I will send you some of my drawings. God bless you for helping these people.

Take yourself to Toys R Us for ideas. Things such as lacing, glitter projects, clay, puzzles, etc. are all good. You can also google search - there is so much around.

How about image transfers
Decorate metal soup cans to hold small items like crafting tools, napkin rings out of toiletc paper, or paper towel tubes wrapped with yarn, ribbon, fabric scraps and any embellishments that you wish. Trivets or coasters made from clothes pins. Mobiles out of painted or embellished canning jar lids. Picture books to help them remember people, places, events or their own room doors. Wish you were here I have all sorts of crafting stuff!
Use pipe cleaners and propeller beads to make small wreaths, candy canes. Can also have them stuff small sewn animals, shapes and give to residents that need the toy for comfort or to Foster care or police stations .
