How to refinish old iron tub

My tub has been reglazed in the past and is now chipping and peeling. I want to keep it because it's original to the 1950 house. Help. Phyllis

Frankly I am a bit shocked that your reglazing did not last. I have had many pieces reglazed over the years and they are all still in service. Are you sure it was reglazed and not some sort of DIY kit? Reglazing does not peel. My vote is still reglazing, just use a different company, Google to find them and inquire as to their method or process.
