Pour boiling water down the drain(s) several times to try to clear the clog. If that doesn't work, but a plastic drain clearing tool from Walmart, HD to try to get to the clog. If that doesn't work, call a plumber.
Try baking soda, at least a quarter cup, vinegar full strength, about half to a cup. Put the baking soda in first, follow with the vinegar, let it work for ten to fifteen minutes, follow with a gallon of boiling water. If that only works for a few minutes or not at all there is a good chance you have a clog that is too far down for anything but a real long snake which are outrageous in price. All the pros to clear that out. Been there, done that! The clog was almost out of the house. Now I do the baking soda, vinegar and boiling water every month or two to keep the drains clean and it has worked wonders and keeps the inside of the pipes spotless (have an area below kitchen pipes in basement that you can open to have access to the drain pipe).
It is a pain. Fill one sick and make sure it is more than secure. My husband holds the stopper in, while I plunge the other sink. It can get messing and be frustrating. Keep steady pumping action on the plunger.
One caveat: there may be a bathroom drain on this same line of pipes. If it doesn't seem to be having any effect, check to see if messy stuff is coming up in any other sink or bathtub.
Typically, potato peels or rice in the disposer cause this much of a headache.
If Drano and hot water are no help, it's possible you need a plumber.
Try the dish soap and hot water told about on the page.

Whatever you do, don't put cabbage in the disposal. I was warned about this.
