I use vinegar.
Water and vinegar is very child friendly.
White vinegar and water is a good one. I put the peels from the oranges I eat in the vinegar so that it does not smell so much like vinegar. You could also use lemon juice in it and the citric acid will help with your cleaning.
The best spray I know is non toxic and is called Simple Green. You can find it in Walmart in auto/boat/camping area and also at Menards in deteregent area. It comes in a concentrate gallon jug and a spray bottle. I buy the spray and refill it from the concentrate. A bottle of concentrate lasts me a year and I use it for everything. It is both disinfectant and deodorizer. Like I said, it is non toxic for kids and pets and ME, I am allergic to most cleaners.
Vinegar and orange peels work really well. Vinegar for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, and grease and cirt cutting, orange peels for the scent, grease cutting and cleaning properties, Both together make for a really good cleaner. The vinegar smell disappears when dry leaving the orange smell. The vinegar also removes odors very effectively when left to dry.
One part distilled vinegar to two parts warm water; smells for a little while, so light incense, but cleans well.
