what are they made out of
My husband and I did ours. It was a lot of work but so completely worth it. You'll most likely need to sand them first unless you have a stain that doesn't have a poly finish on it. Cover all surfaces with a drop cloth and remove the doors. If you don't have a hand sander get one to save your muscles. Remove the hinges and hardware and sand the doors outside. If you have moulding on yours you'll have to do that part by hand. Make sure you either vacuum or wipe them down really well after sanding. Then re-stain them or prime then paint in the color of your choice. Good luck!
