All depends on where you live. Where I am it is still hot, upper 90's today. We are also on water restriction, so I can only water on certain days of the week. Find your zone here.

Hello Sylvia Garcia, Grass doesn't need to be watered every single day, as some folks do, not even if it is only for 10 or 15 minutes a day (that encourages short root growth, and weak grass). I've been told (by my now deceased Uncle who used to be a landscaper) that grass only needs about 1/2 inch of water week to be healthy, whether that water comes from rain or from a hose).
