Use Momma cat language - hiss at your cat when it's jumping. Yes, hiss! As soon as it's landed, pick it up and put it on the floor saying "No" loudly. Every time it jumps do this. It'll learn. Do not let it get to the point of biting.
Cats can learn, they just don't want to. You have to be vigilant about correcting them. http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/2514811/how-do-i-stop-the-cat-from-jumping-on-to-me
Try blowing on your cat's face when she tries to bite you. But be careful, there might be a medical reason why the cat is being aggressive. My Sydney likes to nip my nose, so I've gone to blowing in her face which stops her in her tracks. http://www.petmd.com/cat/training/evr_ct_how-to-stop-cat-from-biting?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PetMD_US_Search%3ENon-Brand_Care%20Center-Cat&utm_term=stopping%20cats%20from%20biting&utm_content=Training%3EBiting%3EExact#
I wasn't bothered with this problem because I discouraged her from climbing on furniture when she was a kitten, but if yours isn't a youngster, you could try a steady diet of a very firm NO and immediat place the cat back down on the floor. Do this EVERY TIME and they usually get the message sooner or later. Sounds like your cat likes the reaction you give and might even consider it a mode of play. Try playing with your kitty more....seek and chase sessions are great. You can use a ball of yarn, a long piece of twine, or the petstores sell laser lights that work really well.
A spray bottle of water. after a few times, he'll stop as soon as he sees you reach for the bottle.
