Sevon garden dust. Make a paste, fill holes with paste, then plug with wood putty. The bees will eat the putty trying to get out and die.
😊
Take a 6-10 inch piece of a 4 x 4. Drill small holes on all 4 sides-at the bottom, like the hole the bees make. On the same end drill a 1-inch hole in the bottom making sure you go a little past the holes on the sides. Now take a small pickle jar or something of the liking and drill a hole in the lid the same as on the bottom of the wood(1“) and screw it onto the bottom matching it with the hole. Screw the jar onto the lid. Screw a cup hook in the other end of the wood and hang up on your deck and watch the jar fill. Bees go in but they can’t get out!! I have 2 that hangs on my deck and they work!!
There is a company that makes an additive you use with whatever wood sealer you use on the logs. Not cheap but it's supposed to keep them from boring holes all over the place. In the spring I go around the house with a badminton racket. Not very practical but fun when you use a point system😋
Next time u seal or stain add citronella to it.U can buy liquid form at most paint stores.
