If you have cushions put them away in a storage container, cover the patio furniture, secure any items that may be effected by any storms

  • Clean and store any patio and lawn furniture, bbq grills, etc. Also store any breakable yard art that might break in a freeze like gazing globes. If you have plants that need to be protected, Google each plant for suggestions on how to winter over. My girlfriend has a fire pit with chairs that remain out all winter - so fun to sit in front of a roaring fire in a light snow fall with hot coffee drinks! My brother has roasted a 26 lb stuffed turkey on a weber kettle with 3 feet of snow on the ground, so if you do fun stuff like that, keep your items within easy reach.
