If you have cushions put them away in a storage container, cover the patio furniture, secure any items that may be effected by any storms
Clean and store any patio and lawn furniture, bbq grills, etc. Also store any breakable yard art that might break in a freeze like gazing globes. If you have plants that need to be protected, Google each plant for suggestions on how to winter over. My girlfriend has a fire pit with chairs that remain out all winter - so fun to sit in front of a roaring fire in a light snow fall with hot coffee drinks! My brother has roasted a 26 lb stuffed turkey on a weber kettle with 3 feet of snow on the ground, so if you do fun stuff like that, keep your items within easy reach.
