I've got a bunch of the 700 ml square shaped bottles with their round corks. Need ideas as they are sitting around waiting for me to come up with something.

You can make gorgeous lamps with lamp kits! Even if they are not all the same, they would look so lovely in one den or living room being all made of vases. If they are clear you can fill them with holiday decor like pine cones , or leaves, or mini pumpkins, or holiday candy, or lights, or a combo of any of the above.

Depending on the size, you can combine it with a nice plate and make a cake stand; upside down + plate or bowl, it can be a nice base for a bird bath; upside down, can be used as a candle holder.
Hello Lori! The lamp kit idea is great, but here are some additional ideas on how to use those vases:

my mom used to put water colored with food color in them. kind of looked like stained glass. had to clean them and re-do every so often, but i thought they were pretty.
Paint them with chalk paint!
I have 2 huge faux terra cotta ones that I'm going to paint with Unicorn Spit.
Here's some google images to explore. To see more info about the picture click on the picture then, on the right, click on Visit. To go back to continue looking, first use your back button to get to the picture, then just use the X on the upper right of the picture and all the others will come back.

This is the idea of what I'm going to do (mine are at least 6x larger) but I will be using red, white and black plus blends of those colors - gray, pink, deep pink.
