Carefully spray with vinegar....sort of works for me
do not use any spray it will kill the other plants,you have no option but to pull it out
To keep the grass from finding its way in the only real solution is a physical barrier between the two. My pachysandra has the same issue and I keep pulling it out just like you but there is always some there.
Straight vinegar if you can just hit the grass, but dilute 1/2 & 1/2 if grass truly embedded in the ground cover. It sometimes does stun the ground cover a bit, but it recovers & the grass will brown & die. This will take persistence....it's not a one & done thing.
