problem is very severe this year. For the voles try castor oil,for the moles keep applying a grub killer
Surprised the pellets didn't work. The moles/voles are after grubs in the ground. The grubs have to be eradicated/killed before the moles/voles will leave. Did you apply pellets as directed?
different diets -- trapping would be most successful for Moles, and Rodent Bait for VOLES -- but know that if a poisoned vole is eaten by a dog/cat it could kill them as well
I don't know about voles, but you can get rid of moles in a hurry by getting an ornamental garden windmill with a center post that goes about two feet into the ground. The moles can't stand the vibration when the blades are turning. We had mole tunnels everywhere but when a friend gave us the windmill and we put it in the garden, the moles vanished in days. They haven't been back in years, and we don't expect them to return.
