There are lots of things you can do with them. Decorate them with decoupage and use them around your home for things that you just don't know where to put. Tea bags, hot cocoa, flavored water packets, cat or dog treats, Q-Tips, Band-Aids - anything that needs a home. You can also cover them with fabric or paint a fun design with glass paint.
You can turn them back into candles by getting some wax of your choice, colorant and essential oils (plus a wick, of course.) Melt the wax in a double boiler (or fake that with a can and a pot. Put the wax in the can and the hot water in the pot), add your colorant and essential oil, put a wick (get the kind with the metal bottom) in the jar (wrap the top of the wick around a pencil to keep it in place) then gently pour in the wax. Leave a little bit in the can or double boiler to top it off then let it cool. Reheat the left over wax and fill the hole at the top. Cut the wick and you have a new candle.
I also like this technique for that gives texture to the glass and is beautiful. Use them for pops of color around you house. Good luck!

Hello Cdiva44, Several years ago I was hospitalized. My nurse shared some of her recipes with me. She made strawberry preserves when they come in season. Instead of using canning jars she put her preserves in candle jars. Of course, she sterilized them. The jars were the kind with the rubber seal.
Clear glass jars are great to store things like buttons. beads, charms, pen tacks, marbles, sea shells, screws, nuts and bolts. It's nice to see what's in them at a glance.
I make sure they are really clean and have no odor of the candle left. During the holidays they look great filled with kisses, m&m's, skittles. I like to layer chocolates, like ghiradelli minis, hershey kisses and peppermnt patties, put a bow around it, decorate the glass with Christmas stickers and have it handy for the unexpected guest to give as a little gift.
The small ones I clean and boil them to get real clean ,then I use them for my spices and cookie decorations.
Anyone that cans food would sanitize them and use them.
I would clean them out and add furniture decals or transfers to them to decorate them. You could use them for small floral arrangements for your holiday dining table. The decals could be holiday themed, too!
