I know this is cheating to put in a question instead of an answer but I have the same exact kitchen floor and have seen lots of advice on painting. What I haven't been able to find out is how to clean after you paint .. (and we all know how dirty kitchen floors can get). Maybe Ginger needs to know too?

I always use Zinnser 1,2,3 Bull's Eye, it comes in gray and white depending on what color you're painting. Also, If you look on Amazon and search floor tiles, there are lots of cute ones to choose from

Look up the Royal Design Studio website. They have gorgeous ideas for stenciling floors and step by step instructions for materials.
Definitely! I did my kitchen floor over Labor Day weekend. Used a solid grey for the base, then a darker charcoal for stencil design.
