Southern Traditions: Why Did My Grandmas Sweep Their Yards?
My question as I watched these grandparents was always, "Why are you sweeping your yards, and why is there no grass around your house?" We have grass around ours.
I would start by power washing them.
Use Wet and Forget safe for all surfaces
Depending how bad it is, if you don't have a power wash, you can brush with soap and water and spray hard.
Any good cleaner, stiff brush and then pressure wash when finished. Makes a world of difference
Have you tried pressure washing them?
Powerwashing it's cheap.
Vinegar, Dawn dish soap and baking soda and a stiff bristle long handled push broom. Hose the area down, drench in vinegar, squirter on some dish soap, then brush to get even coverage. Then sprinkle baking soda. Let bubble for a few minutes then scrub with the broom. Then rinse with the hose.
