These are simple napkin holders that my granddaughter and I made for Thanksgiving at her house this year. What I love about this simple project is that my granddaughter is old enough now to do it by herself, of course with supervision. .
We started of with items from the Dollar Tree: 2 boxes of green shower curtain rings, a package of fall leaves, plus some on a wire, left over from another project, some fall flowers, wire cutters to cut the flowers off their stems and a glue gun. Even my younger grandson made one of them. :)
We started by putting the opening of the curtain ring on the bottom, then put two leaves on the top with a space in between them. Here my granddaughter is getting the spacing "just right".
Next she attaches the leaves with the glue gun.
Next put a flower between the leaves. Here my granddaughter is getting the flower "just right".
One done!
This is what one looks like when complete.
All of them together. We made 15 of these within about 30 min.
These can be put on paper or fabric napkins. The napkin with the blue rings was made by my grandkids for me last Mother's Day. They stay on my table always. :) So get the items you need, gather up any kiddo's that happen to be around or do it yourself. It is really a fun and simple project. Happy Thanksgiving!
