put oven racks in bath tub.. cover with hot water..sprinkle with backing soda and vinegar and let sit over night....wash clean the next day..
I take mine outside and spray them with oven cleaner and leave them all night. IF you use odorless oven cleaner you can spray them in the shower and leave them, then rinse them with the shower after scrubbing them off.
I would remove oven racks and place them outside on newspaper,then spray with oven cleaner,then after ten or fifteen minutes , rinse with cold water

I put down a a towel in my bathtub so it does not get scratched. Then I squirt some Dawn Platinum and baking soda in very HOT water. Put the racks in let sit overnight and rinse. If all does not come off a non scratch scrubbie or magic eraser will get the remaining gunk
For standard cleaning, use a soapy sponge and hot water to wipe the racks. For stubborn messes, soak oven racks in hot water, dish soap, and a couple scoops of baking soda. Let the racks soak in this mixture for 15 to 30 minutes before scrubbing clean with a soft sponge.
