a mat outside door that has thick pile or sisal type. I use a microfibre towel and wipe her toes each time my dog comes in. Good luck
When I'm dog sitting, I keep old towels next to the door and a spray bottle, and wipe them off as they come in the door.
Well I would first get rid of the muddy spots in the yard, is there a drainage issue? I use a tumbled pea type gravel in a few areas in my yard just for this reason. Next, have a large waterhog mat by the door that you use most often. Another option is to have a clean bucket of water by the back door and wash their paws when they come in.
Once the mud dries on the carpet, vacuum it up. They also sell carpet cleaner in a can, it works pretty well, but get your carpets professionally cleaned at some point. I have 6 dogs, 6 cats, a canary and a dragon. The cats and dogs have doggie doors and I have my carpets cleaned every 3 months.
Muddy paws are gonna happen, you just need to trail behind them cleaning up. Life with pets is always an adventure!
Baby wipes and a towel. Wipe the mud off and use the towel.
My dogs sit by the door until I wipe their feet with a wet towel, kept in an ice cream bucket in the closet by the door.
having sat thru many a dog show..there are doggie boots available. my cousins down sized from show horses to shelty dogs to ducks. to keep the paws white the boots were on. the worlds largest on line store carries them. great for snowy areas
A mat outside the door and inside, plus a couple of lengths of craft paper or newsprint, or newspapers, through your kitchen my protect your house. Try to keep the dogs’ entrance and landing place as close together as you can, even if it means changing the entrance. If you have a back porch or patio, try to clean the dogs before they even enter your house. 😇
