how about taking pallets apart and making a skirt.. Some people call them skids. They are really cheap or free. They could later be painted or white washed...just a thought.

Mobile home or camp trailer?
Pallets taken apart and resembled. Just remember to give them a few coats of a good paint to sort of water proof them. If you have cinder blocks laying around those would work to and be even better if you used mortar to hold them in place. Bales of hay would work in a pinch but are a fire hazard.
You could ask neighbors, friends to donate leaves and bag them and lay around the edges. Bales of straw will work. The best thing is those foam insulation panels you can get. A friend did this around a camper and I was warm at 20 degrees with just a candle burning.
