5 gallon glass water jug
I have an 5 gallon glass water jug and would love to reuse it but can't find any ideas for a jug that large.
Put it your closet as a hamper for undies and special things... Because it belonged to your Mom... find a place to keep it useful and safe
Towels in the bathroom, dog toys, (I have a lot of dogs), throw storage, magazine rack, catchall for stairs, keep by bedside for books, tablet, kleenex. No matter what you do, just keep it!
I would keep it next to where I do most of my smaller crafts (in my case, in front of the TV), so that things are handy when I want to keep my hands busy (and not snack).
It's the perfect size and shape for a magazine rack. Or, maybe remove and frame the fabric. Include a little note with a cute saying like Mom was "sew" great. I hope this helps you. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Since this brings back memories - I'd leave it alone rather than recover or paint it. It could be used as a magazine rack or to hold rolled up towels in the bathroom...lots of things.
Put an artificial plant in it.
I would place it in the laundry room as a conversation piece and add a long picture over it of a laundry seen 📌🎄
I store my household tools in mine that I use to hang pictures, etc, it looks good no matter where I leave it and it's easy to find.
