Hydrogen peroxide
Treat stain asap, Peroxide (the kind found in the first aid shopping dept.) works great, additionally its now sold with a spray top. My dog has ear tip vasculitis and that bloody spray soatter can go everywhere this is my salvation!
Dirt Devil for the purpose is good..........
Rinse the area in cold water right away and it won't stain. If it dries cold water should still take it out. My hubby is on warfarin and gets nosebleeds fairly easily and just putting them in a washing machine using cold water has not had any staining on his clothes or bedding.
Test the peroxide on a seam or hidden area before using it on a visible area of your clothing, it will bleach the color out of some fabrics. Soaking in Oxi-clean or treating with a stain remover with enzymes (Biz is one) should work.
Hydrogen peroxide works well. Pour some on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before washing. Unlike bleach or other harsh substances, hydrogen peroxide won't hurt the material.
run the garment under cold water, apply hydrogen peroxide mixed with baking soda, allow to sit to bring the stain to the surface then wash with a stain removal detergent
