If the glass is important, I would recommend getting a bottle of eyeglass cleaner and trying that.
TSP (TriSodium Phosphate) from a hardware or Big Box store like Home Depot or Lowes; absolutely works 100% AND with very little effort.
Soak them in a little bleach with about a gallon of water.
I've used a product called CLR to clean up glasses. It works almost instantly. Be sure to thoroughly wash your glasses after using. Tip - fill 1 glass 1/2 way with the product. Swirl around the glass. As soon as the glass is clean, pour the solution into the next glass and repeat. After you have cleaned all the glass interiors, pour the solution into a glass baking dish and roll the outside of your glasses in the solution. Lastly, stand each glass in the solution to do the bottoms. I would suggest using gloves while doing this. Linda
I've used a paste made with baking soda and water. Also great on coffee mugs stained with tea and coffee. Works great
All my glasses get this way from hard water. To get them clear again I just put them in the dishwasher and put about a cup of white vinegar in a shallow bowl in the dishwasher before I run it. The vinegar not only cleans the glasses, but the dishwasher sparkles too.
Vinegar!
First, swab the glass with nail polish remover and then scrub gently with a mild detergent. If that doesn't work soak them in plain white distilled vinegar or pour vinegar into the dishwasher and run a cycle. If that doesn't work, then the glasses probably have been etched too deep to repair.
Denture cleaner. I used Efferdent, then bought the store brand. It was cheaper and worked just finel
Here is the truth about the film on your drinking glasses. I have read up because I had the problem. I found out that it was not a film at all. It is the glass actually being etched by the soap cleaner you are using. In actuality, you are cleaning your glass too much. Use way less soap. The little soft pill like cleaners work for me.
Rub with gel you use in your dishwasher... Let it sit for 20-30 minutes then rinse. it will be good as new
I use some deluted dish soap with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.
How do. You get rid of brand new out of a glass cup
How do you get rid of brand new residue from a glass cup I've used vinegar and dish soap as well
The cheapest way to fix this is to soak this in vinegar. I would let is soak overnight.
