How high up are the marks? If they're low, then you could add a kickplate, found at the hardware store, usually brass or another metal. If the scuffs are all about in the same spot, then perhaps a strip of contact paper (the removable kind)or wall paper could hide and prevent new scuffs. For moldings, perhaps a bit of thick felt or sponge could cover the nicks.
Can you widen the door openings? We had to do that for my father's home.
Something like this might be of help: https://smile.amazon.com/Wall-Protex-P434SS-Paintable-Adhesive/dp/B003KILYI6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1515367724&sr=8-8&keywords=corner+guard
Try a magic eraser on the black marks. To prevent them, you could try installing a bumper rail where it rubs on the doorway, if wide enough to install. If its the corners your chipping, install plastic corner beads.

The other things I have tried for clients are to put a smooth threshold pieces so your not struggling at the door to get over the trim and banging the sides. And I have also gotten smaller chairs when possible, one trick I've used for low-income is to use the local medical equipment lending program to find a smaller chair or a transport chair.
