I've been told Muratic Acid will clean off dingy tile, fireplace brick, etc. You have to wear gloves and work a small area at a time. If the fumes bother you wear a surgical type mask. You can purchase it at a hardware store or automotive shop. Good luck.
If the tiles are judst now looking dingy, you might need to check your lighting, too! Seriously, that's wonderful. I like Scrubbing Bubbles. You can clean the tiles and grout at the same time. Then if you want to reseal, you have a good base. ☺️
Muriatic acid is very dangerous to the respiratory tract. You must hold a folded towel over your mouth and nose when near it. Open a window and put a fan up at the opposite side of the room from the window to blow the fumes out the window. If you have birds, make sure they and other pets are kept well away from the room. This can also do a good job on cleaning out the toilet bowl if you have buildup or rings. Just be very careful and don't get it on yourself as it is a strong acid.
Nancy has a good point about muriatic acid being a dangerous substance to work with, even outdoors, as it is very caustic. I would not jump to this conclusion that your tiles need such a drastic treatment. Jewell has a good point about the lighting in your bathroom. How old are your lightbulbs, or when was the last time that you removed your light fixture and gave it a thorough cleaning? I would suggest switching to new LED lightbulbs, as their light is clear and bright.
