a roll of the closed cell foam insulation tape to all edges of the door to plug the hole and a "sweep" plastic piece with an adhesive strip on the back. the top is a firm plastic, the bottom plastic is more flexible. the sweep gets adhered to the bottom of the door, covering any gaps.

spray foam is not meant for insulating doors.It is to fill gaps outside to prevent critters from entering the house and sealing other holes. Door isulation is a totally different process

We stuck ours
don't laugh...one side has the sticky part, the other not sticky
If the space is right beside the door then the sticky foam strip should work but it has to be warm when applied. If it is cold outside try using a hair dryer to warm up the problem area before applying the strip.

Try to add a weather strip to the door using double sided tape or No more Nails. You could also hang a curtain inside or use a Draught Dog!
