Asbestos from where? If it's in your house you will need to a call a professional clean up company to remove and properly dispose of it. Unless you own a hazmat suit do not do this yourself
Most states will not allow the homeowner to remove asbestos - it's a job for the pros. Please do not attempt this on your own-it's not just your own health you're endangering, it's the neighbors, your children and future visitors. Once that stuff gets in the air,it's impossible to clean up.
The best is to use a commercial company that does this job. They have the correct equipment. Otherwise you can encapsulate the asbestos by painting over it.
Use a pro. It is not worth the risk of respiratory problems occurring from lung damage, or at the worst mesothelioma which is like cancer, but there is no cure. My dad got it just from working for a company that made and sold insulation and didn't even work in the factory, just the office. He was ill for years before he passed.
You’ll have to get a professional abestos remover, they know just has to keep it contained in the room you want cleaned ..Do not do this yourself
Even sanding it lightly is dangerous, so do not disturb in anyway if you paint over it.
Don't try removal yourself. It requires air testing to assure it's completely gone.
Check your homeowners insurance policy, though. A few may help pay for part of its removal.
Asbestos is very dangerous for the home owner to remove and so requires professional help.
Yes, there is a paint like product that can be sprayed on it. Not regular paint - sorry for the confusion.
